Resumen

The labeled data was generated for training object detection/image segmentation models. The images correspond to floor plans of internal electrical installations in social housing in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Métodos

Data source.The Provincial Housing Institute of Buenos Aires (IPVBA) implements public policies to guarantee access to housing and a fair habitat for families in Buenos Aires Province. Construction plans and bidding requirements are published on the government website, at [https://www.gba.gob.ar/vivienda/licitaciones] (accessed September 20, 2022). Of the total plans available on the website, 58 electrical plant plans were selected, labeled with classes based on their references and the regulations issued by the Argentine Electrotechnical Association (AEA). The images represent the original layout of each plan in full, including title blocks and notes. The plans were originally in PDF format and were converted to JPG. The labels are in JSON format, annotated using Labelme.
