Seasonal Assessment of Thermal Diffusivity in Green Roof Simulators

Abstract

This dataset contains the raw time-series data and R scripts from an experimental study on the thermal diffusivity of extensive green roofs in a semi-arid climate in Argentina. The data were collected over a full annual cycle (from June 2024 to June 2025) in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, from extensive green roof simulators. The files include: Raw half-hourly measurements of meteorological variables (e.g., solar radiation, air temperature, precipitation) and substrate temperatures at different depths. Periodic measurements of vegetation dynamics (e.g., plant coverage) for two native species (Modiola caroliniana and Nassella tenuis). The R script used to process the raw data and perform the statistical analyses for the study.
