This dataset contains the compiled data used in the study Nutrient deposition in the pampas and its impact on crop production by Gonzalo Berhongaray and Roberto Alvarez, published in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (2025). The dataset supports the analyses presented in the article and documents the information used to assess atmospheric nutrient deposition and its potential contribution to crop production in the Pampas Region of Argentina. The database is not based on original measurements. Instead, it compiles and harmonizes information obtained from previously published studies, monitoring reports, and other secondary sources addressing atmospheric nutrient deposition and related environmental variables in the Pampas region. Data were extracted from the literature, standardized in terms of units and variables, and organized into a consistent tabular structure to allow comparative analysis and estimation of potential nutrient inputs to cropping systems. The dataset includes deposition rates of key nutrients reported in the literature, associated contextual information (such as location and source), and the variables used in the analyses presented in the associated publication. Metadata describing variable definitions, units, and sources are provided to facilitate transparency and reproducibility. This dataset is intended to support the reproducibility of the analyses presented in the associated publication and to serve as a resource for further research on atmospheric nutrient deposition and nutrient cycling in temperate agroecosystems.
