Resumen

This dataset contains phenotypic and molecular data generated for the genetic analysis of fruit shape in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.). The data include detailed morphometric measurements of individual fruits from a diverse accession panel, genotypic information for FS8.1 gene in this panel, and phenotypic and molecular characterization of segregating F2 populations derived from intraspecific crosses. In addition, the dataset comprises genotyping data obtained using polymorphic molecular markers. These data provide a comprehensive resource for the study of the genetic architecture of fruit shape and for tomato breeding and genetic research.
